The living is a perpertual curacy, valued in 1831 at £70, and enjoyed by the Rev. Wm. Hobson, B.D. of Sisland. It was augmented from 1767 to 1824, with £1,000 of Q.A.B. In 1707, several Roman coins were found here of Gallienus, Victorinus, Tetricus, Quintillus, &c.
The Fuel Allotment is 6A. 2P., awarded at the enclosure, in 1801. The poor have also 20s. a year left by Thos. Spooner, in 1630.
