Starston, Norfolk - 1801 - Beating the Parish Boundary
Each parish would at various times go around the boundary
so that people might know its extent (called "beating the bounds").
Normally these events would, if recorded, only get a brief mention.
This particular one lists the participants and some of their trades.
This is one item from NRO document [Ref PD 119/97 and microform MF1806/F0532]
and is in the Churchwardens accounts for 1686-1950.
