Each parish would at various times go around the boundary so that people might know its extent (called "beating the bounds"). Normally these events would, if recorded, only get a brief mention. This particular one lists the participants and some of their trades.
This is one item from a Norfolk Record Office document [with the reference PD 119/97 and microform MF1806/F0532] and is part of the Churchwardens' accounts for 1686-1950.
