SPROWSTON, a village 2 miles N. by E. of Norwich. The parish comprises an area of 2700 acres, and the population, in 1841 was 1235. Post-Office, at Thomas Edward's. Letters delivered at 8.30 a.m., and despatched to Norwich at 5.30 p.m.
