PENSTHORPE parish, 2 miles E. of Fakenham, has only 19 souls, and 724 acres of land, in one farm, occupied by Richard Gwyn, Esq., of Stratton.
The Church was desecrated many years ago, and is now a barn. The rectory, valued in the King's Book at £10, and in 1831 at £50, is in the gift of the Trustees of the late R. Hamond, Esq.
