- T - (if present) an abridged extract from a terrier, with its date
- GT - (if present) combined abridged extracts from Gilbert's Returns
and a terrier.
- In the original, pounds are shown as "l" so, for example, 60 pounds
is shown as "60l." which is not easy to read. In this transcription
they are shown as "£" so 60 pounds appears as "£60".
- In other documents for Hindringham the name is Christopher

G. - £25. left by Will by Christopher Ringland [sic],
in 1678, to buy blankets for the Poor;
annual produce £2. 2s now vested in the
14A. of Land, purchased with £70 left by the
Will of Gregory Smith, to buy bread weekly
for the Poor; clear rent £7. 8s. 3d. vested in
Richard England, sen. and jun. and Anthony
Etheridge, of Stanhoe. The above £70. and £25.
were laid out in the purchase of lands in Great
13s. 4d. arising from Land left by the Will of
Thomas May, in 1670, for 4 poor widows; and
12s. by the Will of Samuel May, in 1681, for
the same number, none of these taking
collection. - Now vested in the churchwardens.
