GUIST, a village 18 miles N.W. of Norwich, 2 miles W. of Foulsham, and 6 miles S.E. of Fakenham. The parish comprises an area of 1670 acres, and the population in 1841, was 425. Post-Office, at Edward Eggett's. Letters delivered at 7 a.m. and despatched to Norwich and all parts, via Dereham, at 6 p.m.
