Opening Times

The use of the centre is available to all. Please telephone in advance, to check times and to book a place. The centre is not open at weekends.

These times were correct in April 2003:

Tuesday - 9:30am - 1pm
Wednesday - 9:30am - 5pm
Thursday - 9:30am - 5pm and 7pm - 9pm

Holdings

Most holdings are microform. They include the following items:

Norfolk Censuses for 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891.
Boyd's Marriage Index.
GRO (General Register Office) indexes.
Norfolk Civil Registration.
IGI.
Ancestral file covering Norfolk.
Some parish registers, some monumental inscriptions, small collections, etc.

The LDS Family History Library Catalog is online. You can search for the items that you wish to see, before contacting the LDS centre to order them. A charge is made for items that have to be ordered.
