Norfolk Probate Records
Probate records include wills, administrations (or
admons), inventories, and death duty registers.
They are quite widely available on fiche or film, and some are online
on pay-per-view internet sites.
Remember to look in the records of all of the courts that covered Norfolk
(including the Prerogative Court of Canterbury), as people did not always
use the court that covered their parish.

From 11th January 1858 probate became a civil process, and responsibility
for Norfolk probate was transferred to Norwich Probate District Registry.
See Genuki England Probate Records

- Archdeaconry of Norfolk (ANF)
- Archdeaconry of Norwich (ANW)
and 3 Peculiar courts
- Dean and Chapter of Norwich (DCN)
- Peculiar of Castle Rising
- Peculiar of Great Cressingham
