NORWICH
NOTICE is hereby given, that the Appeals to the fresh Rates for the
Assessed Taxes under the Act of the last Session of Parliament, and to the
additional Charges made by Mr. Hunter, the Inspector, will be heard at the
Guildhall, on Thursday, the twenty-first of January, 1813, at eleven
o'clock in the forenoon.
LOCAL MILITIA
NOTICE is hereby given, that a General Meeting of the Lieutenancy will be
held at the Shirehouse, on Wednesday next, at the hour of One precisely,
to apportion the number of Men to be provided by the respective Subdivisions
for the Norfolk Local Militia.

DEANERY of BROOKE
THE Friends of the Religious Education of the Poor, in the Deanery of
Brooke, both Clergy and Laity, are earnestly requested to meet at the Swan
Inn, Loddon, on Tuesday, the 19th instant, at twelve o'clock in the
forenoon, in order to promote the beneficial designs of the Norfolk and
Norwich Society, within that Deanery.

EAU BRINK DRAINAGE ACTS
NOTICE is hereby given, that the next Quarterly Meeting of the
Commissioners of Drainage for carrying into further execution the said
Acts of Parliament, will be holden at the Hoop Inn, in the town of
Cambridge, on Thursday, the fourteenth day of January next, at eleven
o'clock in the forenoon.

ALTERATION of the DAY Of Holding the BECCLES MARKET
At the request of the Inhabitants of Beccles and its neighbourhood, I,
ROBERT SPARROW, Lord of the Manor of Beccles, do hereby order and direct
that after Saturday the 23rd day of January next, the above Market shall
be held and kept in the New Market Place in Beccles aforesaid, on Friday
in every week, in lieu of Saturday the present Market-day. Given under my
hand this 26th day of December, 1812.

NOTICE to DEBTORS and CREDITORS
ALL persons who stand indebted to the Estate and Effects of the late
Mr. EDWARD SMITH, farmer, of Strumpshaw, in Norfolk, are desired to pay
their respective Debts within one month from the date hereof to
Mr. William Pyle, miller, of the same place, his Executor; and all persons
having any demands are requested to send in their accounts, as above,
immediately.

ALL persons who have demands upon the estate and effects of JOHN
LOCKETT, late of King's Lynn, in the county of Norfolk, glassman,
deceased, are requested by his executors to send an account thereof to
L.W. and J. Jarvis, attornies, Lynn. And all persons who stood indebted to
the said John Lockett, at the time of his death, are desired to pay their
debts, within one month from the date hereof, to the said L.W. and
J. Jarvis, who are authorised by the executors to receive the same.

PURSUANT to a Decree of the High Court of Chancery, bearing date
the twelfth day of December, 1810, made in a Cause wherein WILLIAM NICE
and TABITHA, his Wife, (in behalf of themselves and all other the
Creditors of HANSLIP LONG, formerly of King's Lynn, in the County of
Norfolk, Tanner, and afterwards of Carlton, in the county of Cambridge)
are Plaintiffs, and JOHN KIRKBY and others are Defendants, the Creditors
of the said Hanslip Long, under and by virtue of a certain Assignment or
Deed of Trust, bearing date the 15th day of January, 1803, made by the
said Hanslip Long, to the Defendants, John Kirkby and Joseph Long, in
trust for his said Creditors, are forthwith to come in and prove their
debts before Francis Paul Stratford, Esquire, one of the Masters of the
said Court, at his chambers, in Southampton-Buildings, Chancery-lane,
London, or in default thereof, they will be excluded the benefit of the
said Decree.
